Our organization offers different types of shelter for vulnerable and marginalized people afflicted with sexually transmitted or blood-borne diseases, notably those who are living with HIV/AIDS. Everyone is welcomed and treated with respect and dignity.

What’s New

A big thank-you to the Chambrelle organization for helping us find a new place as of mid-May 2019 and while work was being done on the Centre Amaryllis. Between April 2 and May 15, please call 514-842-4439, ext. 102 for any requests about Centre Amaryllis. 

The Sidalys Foundation is looking for a communications officer/fundraiser. 

Reporting to the Sidalys Foundation, this person will help set up communication and fundraising strategies. He or she will help draw up, coordinate and follow up on communications and fundraising activities, as well as work closely with the Foundation’s members.

The position’s main responsibilities:

Finding ways to increase the visibility of all aspects of our organization

Drafting promotion and visibility documents

Producing and managing content for the website and social media

Identifying all possible sources of funding

Drafting Foundation-related requests for funding

Organizing promotional and fundraising activities

Creating partnerships with many different groups and businesses

Taking part in special activities, building the organization’s corporate spirit and promoting its activities and mission


Someone who is creative and dynamic and can demonstrate professionalism

Ability to organize, plan and meet deadlines

Ability to work independently in a team situation

Commitment to the Sidalys mission, values and vision

Excellent knowledge of MSOffice, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite and Indesign software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English

Proven experience with social media and in organizing events

University degree in communication or equivalent, desirable

Graphic design experience an asset

Familiarity with community agencies an asset

One-year freelance contract starting in mid-May 2019 (may be renewed)
