DUANE MANSVELD, President

Mr. Mansveld has been a street worker for over 20 years, working with homeless and marginalized people in Montreal. He heads the Street Community agency (Pax-Communauté de rue). He has been a member of the Board since 2005. 

NADYA JUNEAU, User Representative

Ms. Juneau lives in the Habitations Jean-Pierre-Valiquette (HJPV). She has been a member of the Board since 2018.

CLAUDE POISSON, Treasurer

Mr. Poisson is the coordinator of the Rézo network’s sex workers program. He has been active in the community as a street worker or a community researcher for 20 years. Mr. Poisson has been a member of the Board since 2006. 

ÉRIC CARON, Consultant

Mr. Caron has worked in social housing since 1991. He was the coordinator of a management organization in the Sud-Ouest for 20 years, then a management consultant for Montreal Island housing cooperatives at FECHIMM. He has been Managing Director of Ma chambre inc. since October 2013. He has extensive knowledge of all the different social housing programs.

In 2016, Ms. Montpas retired from her job as a business analyst for a Quebec financial institution after close to 35 years. Social involvement has always been important for her, which is why she has given her time to anti-HIV organizations like SMCA-CSAM, the Farha Foundation, Maison Ludovic and, of course, Maison Amaryllis and Centre Sida Secours, since 1991. She also volunteered for Opération Nez Rouge for many years, both on the road and as part of the team management organization.

PIERRE-BENOIT TREMBLAY, President

Mr. Tremblay holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Pharmacy from Université de Montréal and a Ph.D. in Pharmacy, specializing in pharmacogenetics, from Humboldt University of Berlin. He has been a scientific editor and clinician at the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Pharmacy since 2004. He is the pharmacist-owner of the St-Laurent (2008) and Gay Village (2011) Pharmaprix drugstores. He is interested in addiction and mental health, sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections, including HIV, hepatitis and other chronic diseases. He is a fundraiser and volunteer for Sidalys and the Women’s Centre of Montréal, as well as a big brothers with Big Brothers Big Sisters Greater Montreal.

I can't thank you enough for all the help you have given me, and for all the Love you have shown in so many ways, especially toward me. Right now, I don't have the words because I’m all choked up with emotion, but my heart is full of the deepest and sincerest gratitude.
